Crossovers. When done right, yield amazing results, such as Honda’s Accord Crosstour. When done wrong, yield disastrous results, for example; the Ford Flex. But what happens when you take two unlikely contenders like the Nissan Juke and Nissan’s flagship model; the 480 Horsepower GT-R, and transplant the chassis of a Juke onto the ridiculous drive-train of the GT-R?
You get the Juke-R concept model currently being built by Nismo. They are only building two of these bad boys (for now), one with left hand steering for us Americans, and another with right handed steering, for the rest of the world. The logic behind their decision to build this model is amazing, when asked, they simply replied “Nissan is building the Juke-R because we can.” It would be amazing to see how many other creative decisions could be made if companies like Nissan just throw expenses out the window and make something for the sake of making it.
